Silver Nanowires
The production of silver nanowires answers the demands of new expanding markets, including photovoltaic cells, flexible displays, electromagnetic shielding and heating surfaces, by replacing traditional transparent conductive materials (e.g. thin metal oxides layers and conductive polymers). These products provide flexibility without compromising transparency or conductivity.
The use of nanomaterials in solution, particularly metal nanowires, is a promising alternative and opens up the possibility of printing methods for large surfaces.
