DESCRIPTION

METADUCT 1225 SN-742 is an easy-to-use economical electrically conductive epoxy adhesive which has been specifically formulated for cost-critical applications.

METADUCT 1225 SN-742 is supplied in two parts which, when mixed, cure at room temperature into a rigid solid with excellent electrical conductivity — low enough to satisfy most general purpose requirements. When blended together in proper mixing proportions, the two components produce a thin paste which is readily applied by brush or trowel or from a syringe.

METADUCT 1225 SN-742 provides a convenient alternative to lead-tin soldering for bonding or making circuit connections, especially where soldering is not feasible. Adhesion to metal, glass and plastic is excellent.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1.Mix METADUCT 1225 SN-742 BASE thoroughly until uniform in the container in which it is received. Then weigh out the amount desired into separate containers.

2.Measure 4.5 parts of METADUCT 1225 SN-742 ACTIVATOR by weight for each 100 parts of base. Mix thoroughly. Working life will be 2 hours at room temperature.

3.Select either of the following curing schedules:

Room temperature (77°F) 8 hours
150°F 30 minutes
