METACAST 5230 LOW-COST MULTI-PURPOSE EPOXY FOR ELECTRONICS

MULTI-PURPOSE HIGH QUALITY RESIN SYSTEM WITH LOW VISCOSITY

METACAST 5230 is a low cost, multi-purpose epoxy resin compound designed specifically for use in the electronics industry. It’s low viscosity, low volatility resins are intimately dispersed with non-abrasive fillers to provide minimal shrinkage, low exotherm and excellent chemical and electrical insulation.

By varying the hardener, METACAST 5230 will replace several more expensive limited function-type resins with a resultant reduction in inventory costs. It’s non-settling, low viscosity, non-abrasive properties make it ideal for automatic or hand dispensing applications such as potting, encapsulating, casting, bonding and sealing delicate electronic components.

METACAST 5230 is available with a choice of curing agents.

For potting and casting PROTAVIC HARDENER #10 – room temperature curing, low exotherm, minimal shrinkage
For maximum environmental protection PROTAVIC HARDENER #16 – heat curing, optimum electrical and physical properties, high heat stability.
For adhesive applications PROTAVIC HARDENER #42 – room temperature curing, controlled flexibility, high adhesion.
